The Mexican Food Cook-Off, presented by Metro PCS is back. The cook-off is held on September 20 downtown on El Paso Street . Come out and eat, drink, and celebrate all that the Mexican culture has to offer.
The upcoming Mexican Food Cook-Off got me thinking about the plethora of fine Mexican food restaurants our city has to offer. More specifically, the number of great hole-in-the-wall Mexican food restaurants one can find in our area.
Talking about the upcoming Mexican Food Cook-Off on the radio reminded me of this video of Mariachis playing at a wedding in Connecticut’s Mystic Aquarium and entertaining more than just the guests. They also serenaded the aquarium’s beluga whale!
I'm stuck in the studio today and can't make it out to the Mexican Food Cook-Off but maybe you can snap a few pictures and help me experience it anyway. The person who submits the most creative picture will win a brand new pink Kiss FM t-shirt and a family 4 pack of tickets to the El Paso Diablos....
