Forget cooking an egg on the street to prove how hot it is outside. This Houston resident decided to bake bread in her mailbox instead, or did she?

It's a pretty intriguing tweet for 10:15 on a Tuesday morning. I stared at the tweet for a minute and had a few questions.

The latest Internet challenge has invaded a couple of our news station's newsrooms.

If taking selfies with high profile athletes at the Rio Olympics was an Olympic event, one KVIA ABC-7 reporter's brother would have won the gold.

Four people were trapped in a Northeast arroyo during Saturday's afternoon storm. According to ABC-7 three people were able to get out of the arroyo but one woman did not.

You have spirit, yes you do?  If you're a high school mascot, you could be on a commercial for ABC 7's high school football shoe! I was trying to rhyme there.  It's 'show', not shoe.  *sheesh*

UTEP Coach Tim Floyd spoke with the El Paso Times about his team in today's newspaper, and called an ABC7 reporter a meanie!

Every Monday morning, I write a blog post called 'Military Mondays'.  We started this post so friends and families of troops stationed at Fort Bliss could tell us all about their loved one who is serving in the military.  Today, I'm going to be on the ABC 7 'Noon Show' to talk about Military Mondays.

We've had a really mild winter so far this year, but that doesn't mean uneventful weather!  We're going to warm up a bit tomorrow, but watch out for Wednesday!

Back in June, UTEP was told by the UT Chancellor that they couldn't sell beer for the Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr./Andy Lee fight.  It pissed off the entire city and destroyed ticket sales.  But UTEP pulled up their big girl panties and told UT today, "Oh yeah, well, we're going to sell beer at games!"
