80's movies

The 80's had the best of everything - music, movies, and, of course, females meowing at each other in impossibly beautiful mansions while decked out in thousands of dollars worth of clothes and jewels on tv!  That's why I love birthday girl Linda Evans so much!

Today is Karen Allen's birthday, and even though I loved her in the Raiders of the Lost Ark movies, the movie she made with Jeff Bridges (hubba hubba!), Starman, is one of my top 10 favorite movies!

There are some really good 80's flicks out there that stand the test of time, 'Top Gun', 'The Breakfast Club', 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'.   Then there are forgotten gems like 'Tequila Sunrise'.  It had all the 80's elements, great hair on Michelle Pfieffer, a young, pre-crazy Mel Gibson, and a super-hot Kurt Russell.
