The El Paso County Coliseum will be overrun by giant lizards this weekend.

Lizards straight out of the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods will call the coliseum home for a few days when the traveling dinosaur show T-Rex Planet returns to El Paso over the Labor Day weekend.

The three-day exhibit gets underway at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 3, and will feature animatronic dinosaur models, dinosaur rides, inflatable dino-themed jumping balloons, face painting and a fossil dig "where young paleontologist can dig up ancient bones."

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door and include a tour of the Dino exhibit, unlimited access to the Fossil Dig, Dino Theatre and Dino Bounce Castles area. Dinosaur rides and face painting will require an additional cost.
