Sweet Addiction Needs Your Help to Find Alleged Vandals

One of my favorite cupcake shops in El Paso shared some scary news to start off the New Year. Sweet Addiction is your friendly neighborhood shop who seems to be having some not so friendly neighbors. According to an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 2nd, Sweet Addiction's gate suffered some damaged after two attempted break-ins.

Ugh, I hate to have our first post of the year be a not so good and cheery one. At some point in the past few days there have been 2 attempted break ins at the shop 😫 A police report has been filed and we will have the area patrolled for the rest of our break. We have also turned in surveillance video and are prepared to press charges once these individuals get caught. If you're one of our awesome Central friends, please keep an eye out for us and let us know of any suspicious activity. The shop is currently on a break, so there as been little activity around the area as for customers. Unfortunately, there has been activity from some mean people. Who attempts to break into a cupcake shop? They are some of the happiest places on earth!

The great people at Sweet Addiction are asking for any information from anyone around the Central El Paso area, specifically 2831 Mobile, who might have seen something. So far, a police report has been filed and surveillance footage has been given to the authorities.
