Suspect in Sexual Incident With Teen Sought by Las Cruces Police

Jimmy Robles, 47, is charged with one count of criminal sexual contact of a minor. The charge is a fourth-degree felony count.

Las Cruces Police are on the hunt for Robles after he was allegedly involved in a sexually-explicit encounter with a 17-year-old girl. According to police reports, the girl was sleeping in the living room at her cousin’s house on Oct. 4 when Robles tried to touch her inappropriately. The girl told detectives that she told Robles to stop, which he did.

Robles and the girl have no family relation. Later that night, the girl woke up to find Robles on top of her and touching her and trying to remove her clothes. She was able to get away from Robles to get help from her cousin who was asleep in another room.

Robles then fled the home and police are looking for him. He is 5'9" and weighs approximately 240 pounds. He has blue eyes and black hair. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Robles is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795.
