Sun Metro Will Operate on Regular Schedule on Martin Luther King Day

Here is some good news for El Pasoans who relay on public transportation, Sun Metro will operate on a regular schedule during MLK day.

On Monday we observe Martin Luther King Jr. and while it is an American federal holiday with banks, courts and city offices, libraries, post offices and schools closed for the holiday, Sun Metro will run on a regular schedule.

And while Sun Metro routes will run on a regular schedule, the administrative offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 18, in observation of the holiday, returning to a regular schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Sun Metro’s fixed route and LIFT, paratransit, services will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Martin Luther King Day as well.

Sun Metro’s customer service line, 212-3333, will be available from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sun Metro ticket offices also will be open.
