Sun Metro will be required to detour Routes 13, 14, 15, Brio and 53 beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4, due to two parades in celebration of Independence Day in West and East El Paso.

Sun Metro drivers will make courtesy stops along the detoured routes as needed. Routes will resume regular operations upon the end of the parades.

Route 13 Detour

Buses traveling outbound, southeast on Westwind will turn right onto Northwind, right onto Dawn, left onto Escondido, left onto Resler, left onto Mesa, right onto Balboa returning to the regular route. Buses traveling inbound, southeast on Fiesta will turn right onto Balboa, left onto Cadiz, right onto Sunland Park, enter I-10 West, exit Resler, left onto Mesa returning to the regular route.

Route 14 Detour

Buses traveling outbound, northwest on Mesa Hills will turn left onto Sunland Park, enter I-10 West, exit Resler, right onto Escondido, left onto Westwind returning to the regular route. Buses traveling inbound, south on Westwind will turn right onto Escondido, left onto Resler, left onto Mesa, right onto Sunland Park returning to the regular route.

Route 15 & Brio Detour

Buses traveling outbound, north on Mesa will turn left onto Mesa Hills, left onto Sunland Park, right onto I-10 West, exit Resler, left onto Mesa returning to the regular route.

Route 53 Detour

Buses traveling inbound, west on Montwood will turn left onto Lee Trevino, right onto Trawood, right onto Yarbrough, left onto Montwood returning to the regular route.
