As the El Paso Downtown Street Festival prepares to kick off Friday, certain streets will be closing and Sun Metro will be detouring bus routes.

Sun Metro is planning on detouring routes 4, 9 and Brio will be required to detour due to beginning at 6 a.m. starting on Thursday, June 25. This detour is expected to be in effect until 1 p.m. Sunday, June 28.

Three streets will be closed off to traffic for the festival. These streets are Santa Fe between San Antonio and Franklin; Main between Santa Fe and El Paso; and Sheldon Court between Santa Fe and El Paso.

Route 4 Detour

Buses traveling inbound, west on Missouri will turn right onto El Paso, right onto Wyoming, right onto Oregon, right onto Paisano, right onto Anthony returning to the regular route.

Route 9 Detour

Buses traveling outbound, east on San Antonio will turn right onto Santa Fe, left onto Paisano, left onto Oregon, right onto Franklin returning to the regular route.

Brio Detour

Buses traveling outbound, leaving the Downtown Transfer Center will stay straight onto Fourth, turn left onto Oregon and return to the regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, south on Oregon will turn right onto Paisano, left onto Santa Fe continuing to the Downtown Transfer Center.
