Stupid News: “Genius” Finds Out Why You Shouldn’t Try What You See On TV At Home

REAL MAN OF GENIUS EXPERIMENT FAIL ... This is why, kids, shows like "MythBusters" and "Jackass" warn you not to "try this at home": In Wayne County, Ohio, a man - name withheld - decided he was going to see for himself if a phonebook could really stop a BULLET, like he saw on "MythBusters".

So he put a phonebook on the mantle above his fireplace, stood across the room, and opened fire with his nine-millimeter pistol. Fail #1, he's a bad shot. Two, the walls of his house were pretty thin. And three, the phonebook did NOT stop the bullet. I say "the" because only one of his three bullets actually hit the phonebook, but all three went through his thin walls - and all three ended up going through his NEIGHBOR'S wall too!!! Fortunately, no one was in the path of the bullets.
