The spring edition of UTEP’s Friday Night Flick movie series concludes this Friday, April 21, with a low-priced screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The sequel (Prequel? Spin off? I'm so confused.) tells the story of the Rebel Alliance plan to steal the schematics to the Death Star so that Luke Skywalker can destroy it in the first movie. Oops, spoiler alert!

So dust off your light saber, gas up your Millennium Falcon and make your way to a college campus not all that far, far away. Tickets are $2 for UTEP students, faculty, staff and alumni (with valid miner gold card), $3 for the rest of us, and can be purchased at any UTEP Ticket Center location.

Movie Time

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the movie starting promptly at 6 p.m. in the Union Cinema, located on the first floor of UTEP’s Union Building East.

Concessions

Soft drinks and snacks will be available at the concession stand for a few bucks, including a $5 hotdog, popcorn and drink Movie Combo. Outside food and drink is not allowed.

Parking

Parking at the UTEP Sun Bowl Parking Garage or S-1 parking lot is free. The parking garage is located near the corner of Sun Bowl Drive and University Avenue next to the University Book Store. The S-1 parking lot is at the corner of Schuster Avenue and Hawthorne Street. Click HERE for visuals and map
