Planned attractions and entertainment for this year's fair include Best Of The Southwest Open Bull Riding, and the 2017 Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo.

Daily entertainment will include an exotic petting zoo, pig races, and the Xpogo Stunt Team, "the world’s best extreme pogo demonstration crew."
