WWE fans, get ready to see one of the greats in El Paso this holiday season. Sin Cara will be the Grand Marshal of the 82nd Annual FirstLight Federal Credit Union Sun Bowl Parade.

Sun Bowl Association officials say the theme of the parade is 'Amazing Feats’, so they wanted someone who had accomplished something big and amazing. They felt that Sin Cara, an El Pasoan, fit that bill because of his success.

Sin Cara is a native El Pasoan, born and raised, who grew up in the Segundo Barrio, wrestled at Burges High School, won a state championship a number of times and was nominated for Athlete of the Year.” He made his WWE debut August 12, 2011, and is well-known for his masks and wrestling style. The Sun Bowl Parade is a family tradition for many El Pasoans. It is scheduled for Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 22, at 10 a.m. The parade will run down Montana Ave from Ochoa Street and wind up at Copia. The parade is free, but thousands turn out, so make sure you get to the parade location early to get the best view.
