Have you heard of pub crawlers?

No, they’re not the people who go from bar to bar all night, they are vehicles that look like a trolley and is pedaled by passengers. The vehicles also have an driver, who is not allowed to drink, and an electric motor to help get up hills.

The pub crawlers are outfitted with a bar in the center and some are BYOB. They’re popular in larger cities, like Austin, Memphis, and Las Vegas and during the August 9th city council meeting the possibility of changing an ordinance to allow them was discussed.

Before a vote is taken on allowing pub crawlers in El Paso, officials with the City and the El Paso Police Department want to know what you think about them.

They are going to hold two public meetings this month.

One will be Monday, September 12 from Noon to 2p.m. at the Armijo Library at 620 E. San Antonio.
The other meeting will be Wednesday, September 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 911 Raynor.
