It's been a long and winding road for Selena Gomez's love life, and things don't seem to be getting less complicated any time soon.

The pop star, who was everywhere this week—performing during the broadcast of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show as well as attending the Billboard Women in Music Awards—capped off her crazy week by joining her rumored ex-beau Zedd onstage Friday night in New York City, where the two (possible) former luvahs performed their hit "I Want You To Know" for the first time together live.

Afterwards, the two took to Instagram to gush about the performance as well as one another, with Selena calling the Russian-German producer her "babes" and Zedd calling her his, um, "favorite lil Mexican taco." Yeah...

Anyway, moving on, because this is where things get interesting.

After the highly publicized Jingle Ball performance, Selena's more famous ex, Justin Bieber, took to Instagram to post two cryptic piano ballad clips of the Canadian pop star singing "Nothing Like Us," a bonus track off his 2013 acoustic album, Believe Acoustic. Fans have long speculated that the emotional track—which features lyrics like "There's nothing like us / There's nothing like you for me, together"—is about none other than Selena.

All of this comes in the midst of rumors that Selena is dating One Direction's very own Niall Horan. Sel, however, recently (sorta) shut that gossip down personally when she told Entertainment Weekly that no, she's not dating him, while confusingly adding, "I love him, I always have. He's amazing."
