Kids grow up so quickly that another school year usually means a whole new wardrobe, and that can be a real financial burden to some.

If your child attends a school where uniforms are required, the annual School Uniform Swap organized by the Ysleta Lions Club might be able to make back-to-school a little less expensive.

The service organization will be holding their annual community wide uniform swap Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at Eastlake High School, 13000 Emerald Pass Ave. The swap is open to families from all districts and schools.

El Pasoans who have clean, gently-used school uniforms their children have out grown are encouraged to drop them off at National Self Storage, Laundry USA, Rocky Mountain Radar, Xtreme Core Fitness in Horizon City, and Immunize El Paso on George Dieter.

You’ll receive a credit slip you can exchange for an equal number of pieces on the 15th. If you don't have a need for recycled uniforms, but have polo shirts, T-shirts, pants, shorts, capris, skirts and skorts your children have outgrown, you can donate them to the program for other children to use.

You can find more details, including the addresses of drop off locations and contact information for any questions you may have, HERE.
