Sade Releases New Music for Wrinkle In Time Film

I was shook to hear that Sade would be contributing material to the new movie A Wrinkle in Time’s soundtrack. Sade fans haven’t heard from the group in about 7 years from their latest effort Soldier of Love. Sade is known to take long breaks and only work on music when the time is right and doesn’t include rushing a product just to deliver music to the consumers who so badly demand it; me. Haha. The song for the Wrinkle in Time soundtrack is called Flower of The Universe and upon hitting play you’ll hear the classic Sade sound immediately. A few seconds in, Sade’s voice is the engine of the group that her fans have grown to love and recognize the moment her tone hits the bar. The song is seemingly about a group of people yearning to be within the proximity of one person who has an enlightened point of view. Check out the song below and the film Wrinkle in Time starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling hits theaters this weekend.
