Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the high-end steakhouse chain whose signature dish are sizzling steaks served on 500° plates, and whose name is every lisper's nightmare, will open at The Fountains at Farah in late 2016.

Ruth’s Chris will be located on the upper level promenade, near the West Elm home furnishings store. Farah officials said it will offer the same award-winning wine list the restaurant makes available globally, as well as its famous Sizzle, Swizzle and Swirl Happy Hour, and patio seating with views of El Paso and Juarez.

Steaks at the upscale restaurant are regarded by many as some of the tastiest around, but they don't come cheap. While prices vary by location, prices for an 8-ounce fillet generally start at around $38. If a rib-eye or a T-bone are more to your liking, expect to shell out around $48 for a 16. oz Rib-eye, and $53 for a 24 oz. T-bone.

The signature sizzle Ruth’s Chris Steak House is known for is created by the dollop of butter added to the steaks just before the plates leave the kitchen.
