Chi Chi DeVayne of RuPaul's Drag Race Performs in El Paso

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Chi Chi DeVayne (birth name Zavion Davenport) graced the stage at Epic Bar & Nightclub last Friday and the slayage can be seen in the video below! Moments into her performance you’ll witness a death drop for the gawds! Chi Chi’s entrance song ‘Hideaway’ by Kiesza began but DeVayne was nowhere to be found until about halfway into the song she is spotted slowly walking toward the stage asking in the cutest, confused voice “Is this me?” After the performance she got on the mic and explained that she was outside in the patio mingling with fans when she heard her song and creeped in to check if that was her cue. You’ll notice that the delay didn’t hold DeVayne back from devastating her fans in the best way possible. Her lip sync was 100% and her dance moves are some of the best live entertainment you’ll see. Backstage Chi Chi was sweet, humble and funny! She cracked lots of jokes, talked about how sexy the men of El Paso are and posed graciously for pictures with anyone that wanted one.

DeVayne was recently announced as a cast member on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 where she is offered another chance to be crowned ‘America’s Next Drag Superstar’. DeVayne was one spot shy of the top 3 on Season 8 of Drag Race.

A drag queen popular for creating looks on a budget, Chi Chi says “I’m a cheap queen” to describe herself.
