Riverside High School Choir to Perform with Foreigner

When Foreigner performs their signature song “I Want to Know What Love Is” at the Plaza on Tuesday night, a handful of local faces will be sharing the stage with them, singing backup.

The Riverside High School Choir will perform alongside the legendary classic rock band after winning a contest sponsored by the group.

The choir submitted a video clip of themselves performing the band’s most well-known, best-loved song and received the most online votes to earn the gig.

This is the third time since Foreigner began the nationwide high school choir promotion in 2012 that the RHS Choir has accompanied the band on its 1984 number one hit, having previously won the online contest in 2015 and 2013.

In addition to giving them this amazing opportunity, Foreigner will donate $500 to the choir program.
