Recipe For The Best Chocolate Cookies Ever

I am completely obsessed with chocolate and everything made out of it! It is my weakness and these cookies will make you melt like chocolate!

Need some sweetness in your life...well since I'm not available I'll just have to give you the recipe to the best double chocolate chip chocolate cookies that will ever touch and tantalize your taste buds!

Here's what you will need:

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter at room temperature
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°F. Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl with an electric mixer on high speed. Lower the speed and add the egg and vanilla. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. On lower speed slowly add the dry mixture to the butter mixture. Beat until fully mixed!. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips!

Form the dough into 1 1/2-inch balls. Place on baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake about 12 minutes until the centers are semi-soft. Let cool on sheets for 5 minutes. Remove and devour!
