Pride Day Community Cleanup day will take place this Saturday at various locations across the city to help get rid of residents’ unwanted items.

The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department will designate 20 cleanup sites in every part of the city, making it convenient for anyone to participate. Many of the cleanup sites will have a large roll-off trash container that allows residents to dispose of large, bulky items and debris. Items not accepted in roll-off containers include: tires, household hazardous waste (paint, motor oil, batteries, chemicals, etc.), and e-waste (cell phones, appliances, computers, etc.).

The Pride Day Community cleanup is one of the largest community-wide effort cleanup events of the year in the city of El Paso. The goal is to ultimately cleanup neighborhoods and create awareness about the effects that littering and illegal dumping have on our environment. The event also encourages El Pasoans to work together to create a cleaner, healthier and safer El Paso.
