The same week the Holy Father is dropping in on Juarez, this side of the border will observe Presidents' Day.

With the federal holiday falling on Monday, Feb. 15, and Pope Francis set to spend most of Wednesday, Feb. 17 in Juarez many Borderland students will have a shorter than usual school week. His stopover has resulted in all but one school district suspending classes for the day amid traffic, security, and absenteeism concerns.

But not every ISD is taking Presidents' Day off. Here's a district by district breakdown:

● Canutillo ISD – No school Monday or Wednesday
● Gadsden ISD – No school Monday or Wednesday
● Anthony ISD – No school Monday or Wednesday
● Clint ISD – No school Monday, classes Wednesday
● Ysleta ISD – School Monday, but not Wednesday
● Socorro ISD – School Monday, but not Wednesday
● San Eli ISD – School Monday, but not Wednesday
● Fabens ISD – School Monday, but not Wednesday
● El Paso ISD – School Monday, but not Wednesday
