President Obama Declares Today Military Spouse Appreciation Day

President Obama has issued a declaration making today “Military Spouse Appreciation Day,” a day to honor the “silent ranks” --  the wives and husbands of our soldiers -- and acknowledge their contributions, support and sacrifices while their spouses are defending our country. So Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day, and a shout out to the military spouses of our Fort Bliss soldiers. I want you to know that I'm grateful for your sacrifices too. Thank you for being the one’s who are left behind, while your loved ones are placed in harms way, fighting for our freedom every day.
