The Plaza Classic Film Festival and El Paso’s Triple-A ball club are teaming up to once again lead off the annual event with an outdoor movie screening on the ballpark's giant high-definition scoreboard.

The baseball movie "The Natural," about an aging baseball player (Robert Redford) who comes out of nowhere to save his team, will be shown at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 5 at Southwest University Park. General admission tickets will be $6 and can be purchased at the gate on the night of the screening.

This marks the second consecutive year the Plaza Classic Film Festival and the ball club have teamed up to show a movie on the scoreboard as a warm up for the film fest, which runs through August 16.

This year's celebrity guests are Cindy Williams of "Laverne & Shirley" fame, and Academy Award winner Louise Fletcher, best known for her role as the evil Nurse Ratchet in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."
