The 10th annual Plaza Classic Film Festival is now accepting local films for the Local Flavor series this year.

If you are an aspiring local film maker and are looking to showcase your film(s) then this is right up your alley. This is the El Paso Community Foundation’s largest showcase of locally made films that features various types of films, including documentary, music experimental, and animated films. El Paso film makers are encouraged to submit their films by June 9th and have a chance to be be screened at this year's Plaza Classic Film Festival.

Requirements:  

  • There is no entry fee – submissions are free
  • Any type of film may be submitted
  • No works-in-progress will be accepted
  • Projects must have been completed after January 1, 2015
  • Films must be made locally, be locally set or have a local connection (such as a director originally from El Paso)
  • The entry deadline is June 9, 2017

The Plaza Classic Film Festival is the largest film festival of its kind in the world and begins on August 3-13, 2017 at Plaza Theatre.
