Easter is a great holiday for the family and the kids especially like it.  Here's a few ideas I found online to add to an Easter Basket the grownups can enjoy.

Peep-Infused Vodka

approx 30 Peeps, 750 mL vodka

Place all Peeps into a large jar. Fill with vodka. Allow Peeps to marinate in the vodka in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Vodka can be used as-is, or Peep remnants can be removed by straining vodka through a coffee filter.

Easter Bunny

The Easter bunny cocktail is a strong chocolate cocktail. Shake 1 ½ oz dark crème de cacao with ½ oz vodka over ice. Strain the alcohol over the ice into an old-fashioned glass. Float a teaspoon of chocolate syrup and a teaspoon of cherry brandy on top.

Blue Cottontail

This blue-colored drink is a very strong cocktail. Shake 1 ½ oz vodka, ½ oz triple sec, ¼ oz blue curacao and strain into a chilled martini glass. Flame an orange peel over the glass for a garnish. To flame an orange peel, you need to first cut a twist of orange and hold it very carefully so as not to lose the juice. Hold the twist by the side, skin side down, about 3 or 4 inches above the drink. Light a match and hold it between the drink and twist. Snap the orange peel sharply, which will send the oil through the fire and onto the top of the drink. This is flamed orange peel.

Pink Bonnet

Pastel pink is another perfect Easter color and emulsified egg white adds a foamy touch. Shake 1 ½ oz gin, ½ oz simple syrup, ¾ oz lemon juice, 2 dashes crème de framboise and a small egg white without ice. This will emulsify the egg. Shake the ingredients again, this time over ice. Strain into an old fashioned glass. You can add muddled mint leaves as a garnish for an extra touch
