Paisano Drive Closed After Police Shootout Ends with One Dead

A section of Paisano Drive remains closed this morning after a car chase ends with one man dead.

The chase began around 2:45 this morning and ended shortly after at the intersection of Paisano and Executive. According to reports, police were attempting to arrest a suspect with outstanding warrants when the chase began. The man jumped from his vehicle at the intersection of Paisano and Executive and fled on foot. He began shooting at three police officers and one border patrol agent. Officers returned fire, killing the man.

Paisano remains closed at this time.
