A Canadian model named Jenna Talackova has been banned from competing for Miss Universe Canada because she was born a man. Jenna had gender reassignment surgery when she was 19, and is legally female, but because pageant rules state you have to be a "naturally-born female," organizers had no choice but to disqualify her. Jenna was actually on her way to winning the Miss Vancouver pageant when organizers got a tip that she used to be a man, baby!
