Been meaning to get your pet vaccinated? Now is a great time!

About 400 dogs were vaccinated last week during a clinic hosted by the Animal Rescue League, the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee and the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

The pets were given parvo vaccines, 129 dogs were given rabies shots, 36 were microchipped and 20 were either spayed or neutered.

Officials said the El Paso County Sheriff's PAWS in Detention Section took part in organizing the event. The goal was to get as many pets protected as possible. Is YOUR pet safe? If you need to get your pet vaccinated, call the El Paso Aminal Clinic to schedule an appointment!
