Just in time for the warm weather, Osaple, the “El Paso based cultural collective” that brought the city the increasingly popular “I Heart EP” shirts (with the star on the mountain as a substitute to the original New York design), is joining forces with local music label Electric Social to bring about its Downtown Barhop Band’nanza this Saturday. The event will feature live music and drink specials at five different venues downtown, including special discounts at several boutiques in the warehouse district. The final venue, 501 Bar and Bistro in the San Carlos Building, will carry the party into the night, where several popular local groups will play the night out. And because these guys don’t miss a beat, Osaple has even struck a deal with the Holiday Inn Express downtown to hook hoppers up with special rates for those willing to take full advantage of the day.

The collective, which strives to promote the city’s music, art, and other social events, has put on four prior barhops of this nature, but Saturday’s is their biggest yet and the first to include live music at each stop. Admission to the event is only $5, as wristbands will be needed to take part in the event, and can be purchased at Manchot at The Mix downtown. The barhop will start at 2 PM on Saturday; check out the event here.

Below are all the details, including participating establishments and bands. Happy hopping everyone!
