The first Super Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs will be broadcast for the first time since it was played live. NFL officials say the game is 'considered to be the Holy Grail of sports broadcasts', but because tapes of the game were either lost or recorded over, there was no complete version of the game on video.

NFL Films spent months going through their archives to come up with all 145 plays from Super Bowl I and put them all together. They restored the old footage and put audio from the NBC Sports radio broadcast of the game to form a complete record of the first big game.

The NFL Network will be showing 'Super Bowl I: The Lost Game' on Friday, January 15 at 6:00 p.m. local time. In addition to the game, there will be pregame, halftime and postgame segments, and even social media interaction during the broadcast.
