BREAKING NEWS - LINDSAY CHECK IN AND OUT OF JAIL IN HOURS FLAT: LINDSAY LOHAN checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA , last night just before 9pm to begin serving her 30-day jail sentence. She was processed and released back into the wild by 1:30a.m, a mere 4 and half hours later. Story developing.

KATCHING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS - KIM IN MINNESOTA TO TALK THINGS OUT WITH KRIS: KIM KARDASHIAN is reportedly "conflicted" over filing for divorce from KRIS HUMPHRIES and jetted to Minnesota early yesterday morning "to talk things through with him face-to-face."

Sources tell TMZ that Kim does *not* want to fix the marriage. They say, quote, "Kris and Kim will be meeting with the pastor who married them to talk about the marriage, the divorce, and their feelings. Kim wants to make sure she and Kris have closure and talk everything out." The gossip blog says no reality show cameras will be involved.

UPDATE ... Kim has returned to her home in Los Angeles looking drained and tired following her weekend meeting with Kris and a pastor. Story developing. Anyone else feel the only thing Kim wants to make sure of is that the bad publicity and fall out stop? I figure she figures if she does this it'll look like she did try but in the end that little pow-wow convinced her that she made the right decision.

Word is Kim loved it so much she put a clause in the prenup saying that if they ever were to split, she gets to buy it from him. That ring reportedly cost Kris around $2 million.
