New Street Closure in Downtown El Paso

Motorists be aware of a new temporary street closure in downtown El Paso.

Due to street improvements in conjunction to the Paso Del Norte restoration project there will be some street closures that may affect your commute for the next several weeks.

The sidewalks and pavements along El Paso St. between Sheldon Court and E. San Antonio Avenue will be under construction. Both the sidewalk and the street pavement will be reconstructed.

Drivers should pay attention to the appropriate signage and detours for alternate routes during construction. While the construction schedule will continue for a few weeks, detours and closures may be modified due to weather or other unforeseen events.
