New Mexico State University Presents The Nutcracker This Weekend

This Nutcracker story is a story written in 1816, by E. T. A. Hoffmann in which young Marie Stahlbaum’s favorite Christmas toy, the Nutcracker, comes alive and, after defeating the evil Mouse King in battle, whisks her away to a magical kingdom populated by dolls. The Nutcracker is possibly one of the most popular Christmas plays in existence.

The plays start this weekend December 16^th – 18^th, on Friday at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The Nutcracker will play at NMSU Atkinson Hall at 1075 North Horseshoe on the New Mexico State campus. Tickets are $20. For more information, (575) 646-1420
