New Mexico Man Claims $2 Million Dollar Powerball Prize

A man working construction claimed the $2 Million dollar prize from the Powerball drawing January 6th. 

Jose Sarabia from Fort Stockton claimed his $2 Million dollar prize at New Mexico Lottery headquarters in Albuquerque this morning. He was working construction in Loving, New Mexico when he bought the ticket in new Mexico.

Sarabia’s ticket matched the white ball numbers of 02, 11, 47, 62 and 63. He missed landing that night’s jackpot of $500 million by not matching the winning Powerball number 17.

Sarabia plans to spend his winnings paying off his house and vehicles, donating to his church and helping his parents pay their bills as well.
