Jaydon Chavez-Silver, 17, was fatally shot at a house party on June 26, 2015, and what was heard during the investigation of the incident was horrendous. The chilling words were actually caught on a recorded call to 911. The caller was a girl at the party trying to render aid to the victim. The dispatcher asked if Jaydon was breathing.

When the caller didn't answer right away and became frustrated, the dispatcher replied, "I'm not gonna deal with this, okay?" The dispatcher then proceeded to tell the caller to "deal with it yourself", and shortly after that hung up the phone. The victim's family was disgusted by the call but is focusing on finding Jaydon's killer.

The dispatcher has since been removed from the dispatch call center and the call is being investigated internally.

UPDATE: The firefighter has resigned from his position.
