If you noticed a few Paramount Pictures trucks and a movie crew filming around Santa Fe street yesterday and you wondered what the heck was going on, it turns out the movie company was filming "pick up" shots for the new Brad Pitt movie "The Counselor".

"Pick-ups" are shots or scenes needed for editing purposes recorded after principal photography has concluded, which don't require the actors being present. In other words, don't expect any borderland Brad Pitt sightings.

According to Internet Movie Database, the Ridley Scott-directed film centers around a lawyer -- played by Michael Fassbender -- who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking. Pitt plays the shady drug dealer who gets Fassbender involved. Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz are part of the cast as well. "The Counselor" is tentatively scheduled to hit theaters this November.
