The music line-up for the 2016 season of Music Under the Stars is out.

The 8 performances scheduled from June 5 through July 24 include '90s rockers Smash Mouth, Carlos Santana tribute band Soul Sacrifice, the annual 4th of July concert by the El Paso Wind Symphony, and the traditional Noche Ranchera closer.

For the first time in the series' history, the free outdoor concerts will not take place exclusively at the Chamizal National Memorial.

This year, they will be split between Cohen Stadium and its original home, with the first four taking place at the old ballpark in Northeast El Paso, and all of July's performances, including the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and Noche Ranchera, at the Chamizal.

Music Under the Stars is one of El Paso’s signature summer events, and a favorite for area families who want to end their weekend with a chill night of picnics, music, and dancing. All concerts are from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
