Movies Under the Stars Kicks off This Weekend With ‘Angels in the Outfield’

The 5th Annual “Movies Under the Stars” free movie series kicks-off this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. or dusk featuring the movie “Angels in the Outfield” at San Juan Park, 5701 Tamburo (Tamburo and Glenwood).

The movies series will continue through this summer at the following locations:

• Saturday, June 27: Angels in the Outfield at the San Juan Park, Tamburo Street.
• Saturday, July 4: Despicable ME 2 at the Eastwood (Album) Park, Album Avenue.
• Saturday, July 11: Mary Poppins at the Stiles Park, Stiles Avenue.
• Saturday, July 18: Big Hero 6 at the Vista del Valle Park, Gazelle Drive.
• Saturday, July 25: 101 Dalmatians at the Hidden Valley/Cowboy Park, Coconut Tree Lane.
• Saturday, August 1: Planes, Fire, and Rescue at the Eastwood (Album) Park, Album Avenue.
• Tuesday, August 4: Grease at the Ponder Park, WH Burges Drive. National Neighborhood Night Out.
• Saturday, August 8: TBA Hidden Valley/Cowboy Park, Coconut Tree Lane.
• Saturday, August 15: Captain America: The 1st Avenger at the Pebble Hills Park, Fierro Street.
• Saturday, August 22: Iron Man at the Hidden Valley/Cowboy Park, Coconut Tree Lane.
• Saturday, August 29: The Avengers at the Eastwood (Album) Park, Album Avenue.

The concerts are free and open to all members of the community. All movies are family-friendly and free to the public. Movies will begin at 8:30pm or dusk. Members of the community are encourages to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks.
