A little bit of Russia returns to El Paso in December when the Moscow Ballet pulls into town to put its spin on the classic holiday tale "The Great Russian Nutcracker."

The famed ballet company will perform at the Plaza Theatre Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 24, at 12 noon.

The celebrated yuletide ballet features dozens of Russian-trained dancers, a 60-foot growing Christmas tree, new and spectacular handmade costumes, and stunningly beautiful sets hand-painted in Russia.

Local talent will also be a part of the performance.
