For every terrible half-court shot, you're bound to find one that's simply magnificent.

Earlier this month, Angela Ramey bounced a half-court shot in to win half the cost of half a year of her nine-year-old daughter's tuition at Bethany Academy, in Bloomington, Minn.

Angela's daughter, Grace, won the right to take a few shots by raising the most money for a charity that helps feed the hungry.

They each took turns missing the first two shots before Angela stepped up to give it another try. It wasn't the strongest or most obvious strategy, but she let loose an underhand shot that bounced perfectly on the ground in front of the basket and generated enough height to soar through the hoop.

And then, pandemonium. The crowd on hand screamed after witnessing the unlikeliest half-court shot they'll probably ever see.
