Miranda Lambert Still Hates Chris Brown and Nothing Will Change Her Mind
This is of course why we love Miranda Lambert: not only for sticking to her convictions, but also for her relentless pursuit of Chris Brown.
"He beat a girl ... not cool that we act like that didn't happen," she told the magazine. "I didn't feel right about not saying something. The loudmouth that I am, I say what I think."
At a concert last year, Lambert held up a sign featuring the words “Take Notes Chris Brown” before performing her song 'Gunpowder and Lead,' which is about a woman plotting to kill her abusive ex-husband.
As for those post-Grammy tweets, she said, "I wanted everyone to know that I don't agree with the message it's sending to young women. It's not okay. At all.”
"To be celebrated after doing something like that. I don't think it's right, I never will, and I will stand by what I said till the day I die," Lambert concluded to the applause inside our own heads.
Lambert's interview with Redbook hits newsstands today (Jan. 8). Have you hugged a magazine lately?
