Miners Win Battle of I-10

For the fourth year in a row, the spoils of the Battle of I-10  -- the silver spade and the brass spittoon -- will reside on the UTEP campus. In a game they had to win, the UTEP Miners easily defeated the NMSU Aggies, 41-28. And by all accounts, it wasn't even as close as the score would indicate.

Next up for the Miners are back-to-back away games at Wisconsin (Sept. 22) and East Carolina (Sept. 29) before returning home October 6 to host SMU.
