MILITARY MONDAYS: Meet Dustin Olmstead

It's my honor to do a weekly feature here at KISS FM called Military Mondays.  It's a blog that celebrates our troops stationed in the El Paso area.  This week, we hear from a very proud wife of one of our local troops!

Caitlyn Olmstead wrote a lovely note about her husband, Dustin, and we share it with you:

"My husband, Dustin is the most amazing man.  We met about a year and a half ago by chance of fate, started dating, and were married a year later.

Today, and for the next eight and a half months, he will be in Afghanistan, defending our country.  I wasn't sure if you all allowed deployed soldiers to be nominated but I decided to go for it!

Dustin has been in the Army for three and a half years now and is from Montana.  If he had not joined the Army, I know we would have never met. So even though the Army has him on the other side of the earth right now, it is thanks to the Army that we were brought together!

Thank you for your support of troops!"

Thank you Caitlyn for letting us know about your husband.  He is in our thoughts and we pray for his safe return from Afghanistan.
