While the rest of us were enjoying a lenghty 4th of July fireworks display at Music Under the Stars or one of the other five or so El Paso area locations, San Diego residents were treated to spectacle lasting mere seconds.

The Big Bay Boom show at the San Diego Harbor is known as one of the largest in the country and was supposed to be a 17-minute fireworks spectacular. But thanks to a computer glitch, all of the explosives ignited at the same time turning the choreographed fireworks show tens of thousands had waited all day to see into one big 15-second epic fail.
