Mike’s the Stupid News: Man’s Attempt to Surprise Girlfriend by Shipping Himself to Her in a Box Almost Ends Tragically

A man in southern China recently tried to think outside the box in order to surprise his girlfriend, but he ended up almost dying in one instead. Hu Seng’s plan was to have his friend seal him inside a box, then have himself delivered to her place by a courier. Another friend would wait at Li Wang’s office to film her surprised look when he jumped out.

What could possibly go wrong, right?

Well, for starters neither Seng nor his friend thought to poke holes in the box for air. But things went horribly wrong when the courier mixed up the address and got lost. So the 30 minutes Seng expected to be in the sealed box, ended up being three hours! By the time Hu's girlfriend opened it, he was passed out cold. Luckily for him, paramedics showed up post-haste and were able to revive him.
