I honestly don’t know what a Louisiana man was thinking when he allegedly asked a police officer to help him find a bag of marijuana he'd misplaced, but maybe that’s why they call it ‘dope’.

Jason Ray was pulled over last week after a Kenner, Louisiana police officer noticed his car didn’t have a registration sticker. When questioned, Ray admitted he didn't have a valid driver's license either. He then completed the Dumba** Trifecta when the deputy caught a whiff of weed coming from the car, and asked him if he had more where that came from.

Ray replied that, yes, he did, but when the cop searched his car couldn’t didn't find any – prompting Ray to say, "Hope it didn't fall out of my lap when I got out of the car by the levee. Can you go get my weed?" Office Friendly complied, going directly to the spot Ray suggested and finding about an ounce of the good stuff – or enough to net Ray a charge of intent to sell.
