Got any bras you no longer wear? Hand them over, we could use them.

It's Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we're on a mission to collect as many bras as we can during Mike & Tricia's 17th Annual Pink Ribbon Week, Oct. 2-6. The plan is to hang them from one end of our building to the other in a lighthearted, yet sincere attempt to bring awareness to the importance of annual mammograms.

Mike & Tricia's inaugural Bras across Our Building is also meant as a show of support (pun intended!) to those currently fighting the fight against breast cancer.

For every bra we collect, we'll donate $1 -- up to 1,000 bras -- to The Cancer and Chronic Disease Consortium of El Paso.

CCDCEP is an association of public and private organizations that provide numerous no-cost or low-cost women’s health services such as mammograms and clinical breast exams to local woman with no or limited health insurance.

The Cancer and Chronic Disease Consortium of El Paso is located at 6070 Gateway East, Suite 310. To inquire about income eligibility requirements and/or apply for any of the screenings they offer, call (915) 771-6305.

In addition to Bras across Our Building, Mike & Tricia and 93.1 KISS-FM will pink out the Townsquare of El Paso building. We’ll be replacing the regular white lighting in the front of the building with pink lights so that we can "shine the light" on our "bras for a cause" 24/7.

If you have any gently used and/or no-longer-being-used bras, please drop them off at KISS-FM, 4180 N. Mesa, and help us bring awareness to the importance of annual mammograms.
