Mike and Tricia’s 2014 Easter Basket Drive Underway

Hi, it’s Mike and Tricia. Our effort to collect at least 600 store-bought pre-assembled Easter baskets is underway! Baskets collected and those bought with your monies will be donated to the children housed or helped by The Child Crisis Center, The Rescue Mission, The Center against Family Violence, The Salvation Army, and The Transitional Living Center to name just a few.

Here’s how you can help us make sure underprivileged kids in El Paso have a Happy Easter:

1. Purchase a pre-assembled Easter basket* by Tuesday April 15, 2014. Baskets can be hand delivered to the KISS-FM Easter Bunny between 7 and 9 a.m. the week of April 7 – April 11. (Click HERE for the daily locations), or dropped off at the KISS-FM studios located at 4180 N. Mesa, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

*Pre-assembled baskets are the ones you see at any grocery, drugstore, or retail store. Although we love handmade baskets, store purchased baskets are built to stay intact during handling and travel.

2. Make a monetary donation at an official KISS-FM Easter Bunny morning location, or contribute online via our Gofundme account, which you can access HERE.

3. Inspire others! Get your kids, family, friends, neighbors and co-workers involved. Hold an Easter Basket Drive in your school, church, club, social group or at your business.

4. Spread the word! E-mail this message to your friends, family, and co-workers and let others know what our community can do when we all come together!
